Clash of the Titans is obviously a remake of the 1981 film of the same name. If you have seen that one you have pretty much seen this one as well. It is not like they took anything new and put it in this film besides better effects, obviously. No, I did not see this film in 3D. I am not a big fan of the whole 3D craze. I will say this about the 3D: It was post production which would make the movie look like shit. Quite a few people I know did see it in 3D and said it was crap. The extra money to see it in 3D would have been a HUGE waste.
The story of the movie is the same story that has been told for years and by years I mean hundreds if not thousands. Taking in to consideration that this is a remake they did try to spice it up with some dumb jokes and retarded quips. For instance when the 6 or 7 people are about to fight Medusa, Perseus (Sam Worthington) says, “Lets kill this Bitch!” with a smirk. Mean really? Do you have to slaughter Greek mythology with modern day slander like that?
Now you would think that a movie that is supposed to be built around action scenes would have some sort of good action in it right? WRONG, this shit was so confusing and made zero sense at all until the end of the fight scene. Not to mention people die for no reason. If you are going to kill them the people 2 mins in to a fight make them a lesser character not a supporting one. Hey they killed the 2 scorpions NICE! Ohh shit why are there 15 more? Its that type of stuff that made this movie complete crap.
The movie was littered with no name actors and actresses. You can clearly see they were trying to save money on the film and hopefully destroy the box office. Well the succeeded and I feel bad for Liam Neeson playing in this movie. Now he has to be associated with these retards for the rest of his life. The only other mentionable name in the movie would be Sam Worthington but the dude is dumb so no one really cares.
Go see this movie if you dare to. Just do not expect anything of real value from the movie. I was wrong about the action before I saw this. They made it look so enticing but just turned out like crap.
Have you ever watched the trailer or a TV spot for a movies and thought the movie was hella funny only to find out that all the funny parts were in the previews? Well Cop Out is not exactly that movie. Though there are funny parts in the previews, there is a wealth of good comedy in just about every scene that Tracy Morgan in involved in.
I am not sure why the hell Tracy Morgan is so funny but he just comes up some of the funniest shit in the world. You can totally tell that he improved quite a few parts in this movies and to be honest he made the movie. You also have Bruce Willis, which did a decent job, that was just not really funny. He did a good job with the acting but he just did not take it to the next level with any sort of comedy. Now the guy that I thought did his best job in just about any movie he has been in had to be Sean William Scott. This guy was just plain hilarious. By far I thought he did an amazing job for the little part that he did in this movie. Him and Tracy Morgan feed off of each other flawlessly.
The movie itself was not horrible but it just was not that great. There was a part towards the middle that was editted like shit. Not sure what director Kevin Smith was thinking with that part in the movie but it looked like it was from a straight to DVD movie or even a Lifetime movie. The story moved pretty smooth but fell stale when some characters were not involved, i.e. Tracy Morgan. This movie was held up by the comedy involved and brought down by the lame action and the smirk that Bruce Willis has on his face the whole movie, like he is the shit or something.
As always go see it for yourself. Form your own opinion on the movie. I have heard everything from the jokes in the movie sucked and the action was awesome. Obviously I think those people straight retarded but what does it matter what I think?

Every trailer for Kick Ass promises us that this movie will be, well kick ass. And let’s be honest with eachother, we’ve all been waiting to finally see McLovin kick some ass. From what I can tell though, it seems like the little girl with the purple hair, hit girl I believe her super hero name is, can actually kick the most ass, and she is 11!
In my opinion, there are two actors that can inspire me to go see a movie without seeing one preview, or knowing anything about the movie. I will see everything that has Ryan Reynolds name attached to it, and then there is always Nicolas Cage, who has been rocking the silver screen for about thirty years now, since before I was born, and he has kicked ass in every movie I’ve ever seen him in, from comedy to action to dramatic romance, so if nothing else, I would be excited to go see this movie, just to see his latest performance.
When all is said and done, 2010 is still waiting for its first big comedic hit, and I am hoping that for all of our sakes, Kick Ass will fit the bill. I don’t think we can handle yet another movie building up the hype like Y2K all over again, just to turn out to be another run of the mill, predictable as hell, not even that funny, “comedy” hit. One thing is for sure, and that is that I will crossing my fingers heading into the theater this weekend, hoping that this film will hold up to all the great things we’ve been hearing about it for months.
