The Fourth Kind (2009) Review

Who the hell came up with this movie idea? When I first saw the trailer for this movie I knew for a fact I had to do the research to see what the “true story” behind it was. The reason I say I HAD TO is because of all these crappy movies claiming to be based on true events but then the true events turn out to be some stupid persons imagination or are only a fraction of what plays out in the movie. Anyways, what I found was really nothing because this shit is not REAL. It was a genius marketing scheme and got many many people hyped up for this movie.
The movie itself lacked character. There was just something about it that just was just blah. Even Milla Jovovich could not pull this one out of the dark. The scenes where “actual footage” was used did not look right. In my opinion it all looked fake. Not to mention there is one scene that if it was real there is no way this film would pull of the PG-13 rating it got.
For some reason up in Alaska there has been many many mysterious deaths and missing persons for apparently no reason. So much so that the FBI has gotten involved to determine that they are fucking crazies up there and get drunk all the time. The movie is based on one woman’s perspective on the whole thing where she believes that aliens are abducting people and doing tests on them. Not to mention the woman looks and talks like a straight up mental patient. Ohh yeah no one really believes here. Just some marketing people and a director or producers thought they could make money off this woman’s crazy stories. Go see if it you are in to those kinds of things, ohh yeah this is my opinion. It might be better in your eyes. Do not forget your tin foil hats!
