Drag Me To Hell 2009

Alright i know the freaky old lady looks kind of familiar, she should. It is the style that Sam Raimi used in classics like The Evil Dead and The Army of Darkness. These were AMAZING movies but this one was not. Sorry to say but the satire and irony in this one feels extremely pushed and only makes you laugh or crack a smile for a split second. Not only that it just seems cheesy and stupid compared to the low budget classics that Sam Raimi is well known for. So if you enjoy watching some stupid ass lady deny an old gypsy a loan extension and basically get raped by old gypsy magic for it, then go ahead and waste your time. Just do not get excited and expect to see something great. Also by the way, if you are familiar with Sam Raimi’s other movies you will be able to call every move in this crappy excuse for a Humor/Horror film.
