I am not really sure what exactly to think about this trailer. It is almost as if they wanted it to look like there is supposed to be nothing happening. If you ask me you do not put an assassin in a movie with huge guns and then not shoot the said guns. Not to mention you have some ladies holding guns in the movie making you think that George Clooney might take his old ass and put it in the backseat on this one.
My first impression of the trailer is not very good. It just looks boring from all angles. Maybe they wanted to make a super stripped down bond movie without all the fancy gadgets and some old dude getting his ass handed to him by a couple of women? Sounds like a winner. Regardless of how shitty this movie might be, I will watch it and tell you guys how much I wanted to scratch my eyes out. So, stay tuned for the exciting review of “The American” hopefully coming that opening weekend.

Every trailer for Kick Ass promises us that this movie will be, well kick ass. And let’s be honest with eachother, we’ve all been waiting to finally see McLovin kick some ass. From what I can tell though, it seems like the little girl with the purple hair, hit girl I believe her super hero name is, can actually kick the most ass, and she is 11!
In my opinion, there are two actors that can inspire me to go see a movie without seeing one preview, or knowing anything about the movie. I will see everything that has Ryan Reynolds name attached to it, and then there is always Nicolas Cage, who has been rocking the silver screen for about thirty years now, since before I was born, and he has kicked ass in every movie I’ve ever seen him in, from comedy to action to dramatic romance, so if nothing else, I would be excited to go see this movie, just to see his latest performance.
When all is said and done, 2010 is still waiting for its first big comedic hit, and I am hoping that for all of our sakes, Kick Ass will fit the bill. I don’t think we can handle yet another movie building up the hype like Y2K all over again, just to turn out to be another run of the mill, predictable as hell, not even that funny, “comedy” hit. One thing is for sure, and that is that I will crossing my fingers heading into the theater this weekend, hoping that this film will hold up to all the great things we’ve been hearing about it for months.

That is correct the next installment is coming, and coming FAST! I am a huge fan of this series and the look of Milla Jovovich can not be denied. From the looks of it she is back bigger, better, faster, and sexier than ever. The trailer for Resident Evil: Afterlife looks to be an exciting one and moves on from where the story left off in the last one. Basically everyone dead and she is on the search to find anyone or anything that is still alive.
I will be watching this when it comes out. Not only at the theatre but I will be buying it and then proceeding to watch it a million times. The Resident Evil series is really not that good but I just love the fact that they are some what quality and the zombie killing action is always superior compared other movies of the like.
Resident Evil: Afterlife Release Date: September 10, 2010
