Awesome, the perfect ingredients to make a shit movie. That is the exact thought I was thinking just before watching A Perfect Getaway. How many shitty tourist movies where they get cut up and only the hot chick and her man friend survive can they make. Shit this type of thing works great with video games, they see one type of video game do well and then you see a TON of new games come out that are similar if not a rip off of the original.

Well if you only read the first paragraph then you are shit out of luck because this was actually a pretty good movie. Not going to spoil it for you but with Timothy Olyphant(Nick) being a bad ass and Steve Zohn(Cliff) being a pussy this movie has somethings that other movies like it do not have, well a LOT of things other movies do not have. You can try all day but you will never figure this movie out, I do not care if you are a freakin’ genius or a plot master you will shit your pants before you figure it out.

Not to mention that you have Milla Jovovich(Cydney) which in all reality means that you have to see this movie. With all that aside, the movie itself is really a work of art in how people talk and make you perceive what is actually happening vs what IS happening. So if you like a mind fuck and Milla Jovovich this movie is definitely for you. Yes go see this for yourself and come back here to let me know how much a dumb ass for liking this movie, I dare you.

I have no idea why I do this to myself. I must be a sucker for cheesy horror flicks with pointless nudity in them. This movie, Sorority Row, never really promised much more than that but it just seemed more like a publicity stunt and acting platform for the one and only Audrina Patridge. Besides her, the main character(Briana Evigan), and Bruce Willis’ daughter(Rumer Willis) I have no idea who any of the no names in this movie are. Now that is not a bad thing for a movie but it really did not help this one.

Moving on to the movie now, it tried to hard to be like the Scream movies that we all know and love(sorta). You really think the movie is going one way and it goes the other way, only problem is that it was calculated to much and you could call all the moves based on cliches played out in other movies, namely scream. Also it has that aspect of “Who’s the killer? I thought they were dead? No, way she is ALIVE!” going on. Pretty shitty if you ask me. As always go see it for yourself but when you come back I will tell you that I told you so.

Paranormal Activity (2009)

This movie is quite a different movie than i had really every seen before. You can compare it to Blair Witch or any other gay documentary movie but it is not the same because of the simple fact that this is some freaky shit. Now do not get me wrong by what i mean by that. I do think that this is a very different movie and hits a nerve that many movies can not do or have never done.

I have personally never been freaked out by a movie my entire life but this movie has got some crazy stuff in it. Light turning on and off, possessions, and even some stupid ass psycho psychic. The acting was pretty dumb and the actors in the movie just really do not play the roles very well. Along with that is some cussing that is not needed and seems a bit forced even though i am pretty sure it was improved. All in all the movie was dumb, stupid, and made pretty much no sense along with the lame plot.

Taking this all in to consideration i was pretty bored during most of the movie. There are two parts that will make you jump but not because they are scare but because they are shocking. I think where this movie really scores is when you are not even actually watching the movie but laying down to go to bed. Be prepared to think about this in your dreams and when you simply hear a creek in your house, like i said some pretty freaky shit. Have fun with this movie and decide is you are freaked out after you see it!
